GSCRA Presents Treasure Hunt 2017: A Bridge to Riches
Treasure Hunt 2017: A Bridge to Riches
The Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association has decided to help keep downtown vibrant by holding in a treasure hunt where one lucky and extremely savvy person will discover a prize package worth more than $1,000. Treasure hunters will depart on a Glenwood Springs adventure beginning Monday, August 14 when the first clue is posted. New clues as to the whereabouts and the contents of the treasure will be posted every Monday morning until the treasure is found. Look for clues in the chamber’s The Week Ahead email, the Post Independent and on the chamber’s Facebook page.
"The treasure you could find is closer than you think so look for more clues on posters at places where you drink."
"You've been riding around town and so you may need a new tube, check under the poster for another clue."
"There’s old brick, new brick, red brick, yellow brick, light bulbs and more so if you found this passageway you’re ready to score."
"There’s brick all around where the treasure is found so look out your window when you drive through town."
“Morning shade and afternoon sun will illuminate the prize and you won’t need your sunglasses when you step inside.”
"The treasure is simple but contains many parts so look intently for a prize that will fill your holiday shopping cart."
"There’s only 12 weeks to find this treasure so investigate new downtown businesses to relieve the pressure."
"Have you found the next clue? It’s in a place where you may find a new shoe."
"Four glass doors protect the treasure from people outside that come here for leisure."
"Find this treasure and you’ll want to explore everything downtown Glenwood has in store."
"The magic word you’ll need to unlock the treasure rhymes with Hooray! Go and find it today!"
"If you’re still looking for the treasure we’ve added two more weeks to the hunt for your searching pleasure."
"New to town? The treasure is held by the people that can show you how to get around."
Congratulations to Finnegan, Karlie and Lucy McCurdy who found the treasure! They have found $1000 worth of gift cards to our downtown businesses. Thank you to ALL who participated and supported our local businesses during the Grand Avenue Bridge Project!
