GSCRA Presents Treasure Hunt 2017: A Bridge to Riches
Treasure Hunt 2017: A Bridge to Riches
The Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association has decided to help keep downtown vibrant by holding in a treasure hunt where one lucky and extremely savvy person will discover a prize package worth more than $1,000. Treasure hunters will depart on a Glenwood Springs adventure beginning Monday, August 14 when the first clue is posted. New clues as to the whereabouts and the contents of the treasure will be posted every Monday morning until the treasure is found. Look for clues in the chamber’s The Week Ahead email, the Post Independent and on the chamber’s Facebook page.
"The treasure you could find is closer than you think so look for more clues on posters at places where you drink."
1. THE GOAL
The goal of the treasure hunt is to find the location of the treasure and properly complete the steps necessary to claim it.
2. THE TIME LIMIT
The treasure hunt will begin on August 14, 2017 and conclude on Small Business Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017.
3. THE BOUNDARIES FOR YOUR HUNT
The boundaries for the hunt will be issued as an initial clue.
4. COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS
As the treasure hunt comes to an end a completion requirement and password will be issued to claim the treasure. 5. LEAVE ‘BONUS’ CLUES IN PLACE AND DO NOT SHARE THEIR LOCATIONS
There are multiple bonus clues that will be placed on the back of Treasure Hunt promotional posters. Do not remove these posters. Removal of Treasure Hunt posters will result in disqualification.
6. AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION
Cheating, stealing, sabotaging, removing items, or breaking the law will result in automatic disqualification.
7. EXERCISE COMMON COURTESY WHEN INTERACTING WITH THE PUBLIC
If/when talking or interacting with strangers, business owners, or community workers, all participants must be polite and respectful.
8. THE DECISION OF THE JUDGE IS FINAL
The rules are the rules. The decisions of the Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association are final.
