The Garfield County Shop Local Partnership is excited to announce a “Shop Local” campaign in Garfield County. The goal of the campaign is to educate the public about the positive effect supporting local businesses has on our communities. We know shopping locally supports businesses like yours and keeps money circulating in our area. Additionally, Garfield County Libraries, 911 Communications, local non-profits, Garfield County Road and Bridge and Human Services, and your local municipalities all benefit by receiving a portion of Garfield County’s one cent sales tax.
We are asking every business in our communities to participate in the campaign by doing these simple things:
1. Place the Shop Local window cling that will be sent to you in the front window of your business or other highly visible location;
2. Thank customers at the time of purchase for supporting a local business;
3. Tell others! Word of mouth is the best way to share our success.
The Shop Local Partnership will be attending Business After Hours events in conjunction with your local Chambers of Commerce, and will contact you about other local opportunities to participate in special promotions. We sincerely appreciate your participation in the Shop Local campaign. We have created a website where your business can be featured, along with logos that you can add to advertising for your business. Go to www.ShopGarfieldCounty.com, contact your local Chamber of Commerce or email email@example.com for additional information.
Shop Local is a free program brought to you by Garfield County Libraries and their community partners.
