Glenwood Documentary needs the help of the Business Community
The project will promote Glenwood as a historic, interesting and exciting place to visit. From the 1860's to 1926 we will bring the real stories of Roosevelt, Holliday, Mix, Devereux and many more eccentric characters who walked the streets and help make Glenwood what it is today. Notable old-time locals will add a voice to the project as will Ron Milhorn from KMTS who will narrate the film.
The Valley Insider and the Frontier Historical Society have partnered to create this film and we need $40,000 to reach our goal ( 10% to the Frontier Historical Society, 5% Kick Starter, 3% Amazon for transactions fees) which will leave us a $33,000 budget to hire crew, composer, hire actors and post production to make a first class Ken Burns style documentary utilizing docu-drama to recreate scenes from the past. The film will shoot in the summer months with post production taking place this fall and a release of December, 2015. The last 5 minutes of the project will show Glenwood Springs, as it is today, highlighting all that makes our town a great place to visit!
