The Glenwood Springs High School DECA Club’s annual invitational event is Monday October 3rd at the Hotel Colorado! We need YOU, one of our neighbors and friends to be a competitive events judge.
As a competitive events judge, you’ll sit across the table from DECA members who have been preparing all year-long in classrooms to have their chance to shine in front of you.
You’ll be so impressed you’ll forget they are just in high school.
Date and start Time: Monday October 3rd 7:15 to 7:30 a.m. (Sign in and find your table)
Where: Hotel Colorado
Activity: Breakfast will be provided. You will meet your fellow judges, read your event and ask any questions you may have.
(The students will be at their assigned places at 8:30am. Last year more people were gracious to judge, so we were done with all events before 2 pm and several were done by noon.)
Many of you have judged and know what to expect. For those of you who have not judged in the past PLEASE consider joining us Monday, October 3rd. WE NEED
JUDGES as well as behind the scene helpers. The good part is, you do not need to be a “seated” judge to participate. “Regular” people make the best judges, and the students appreciate the effort that everyone makes.
More information about the organization may be found at the following link: http://www.deca.org/
Our website for the invitational is: glenwooddeca.com. You can find information about the invitational as well as a schedule of events for the weekend.
Please contact Taylor Parsons-GSHS DECA Educator 970-384-5598 firstname.lastname@example.org and they will be delighted to have you assist in this great program!
Come and have breakfast with us Monday, October 3rd.
