Snowmass Ski Patrol is proud to announce the 2nd annual Charity Golf Tournament and fundraiser on April 18th at Ironbridge. All proceeds from the event will go to the Snowmass Patrol Foundation - a non-profit that strives to expand its programs and offerings within the community and beyond. After a successful fundraiser last year we hope that you will be able to take part in this year’s exciting event and experience firsthand the pride we take in supporting our cause. We expect to have approximately 100-140 golfers at our event on April 18th at Ironbridge Golf Course in Carbondale, CO. Last year we had 92 golfers participate in the tournament and we look forward to expanding the popularity of this fun and worthwhile event.
It is our mission to help better the lives of those in need. Whether near or far, we strive to give hope and joy to individuals and families in an abundance of different challenging circumstances. In order to meet our mission and provide services, we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses for support. Without the assistance of community-minded individuals like you, we wouldn't be able to help those in our community and beyond each year.
Last year, we were able to donate over $5,000 to the family of a 7 year old with Leukemia with the proceeds from this event. We were also able to help families in our valley with smaller donations throughout the year. This year we will have two beneficiaries. The first being very near and dear to our hearts as he is a local 36 year old man and former Snowmass ski patroller who was recently diagnosed with cancer. Additionally, we will sponsor youth with cancer and other life threatening illnesses to attend the Shining Stars Foundation winter camp in Aspen.
We ask that you make a commitment to support our 2nd Annual charity golf tournament by making a cash donation. This year our goal is $10,000 and we hope that you will be able to contribute. Your generosity will make a difference by allowing us to continue helping those in need.
Donations may be sent to: Snowmass Patrol Foundation C/O Vince Nichols 295 Deer Run Carbondale, CO 81623
If you are interested in getting a 4-Person Scramble team together, please let us know. Feel free to contact Lauren Wenzel, Snowmass Patrol Foundation President, with any questions!
Remember that every donation makes a difference, regardless of size. Thank you in advance for your support!
