Closing Day at Sunlight Mountain Resort

The local ski area plans to close during the week of April 4th and then to reopen for April 9th and 10th. Sunlight has received over 18 feet of snow this season and is reporting a 70 inch base.
Sunlight will host the final event of the season on Sunday, April 10.
There will be a bikini/Speedo slalom on Dotsero in front of the deck and so competitors should be ready to show-off their winter tans. This competition is open to anyone that wishes to participate and is sponsored by the Sunlight Winter Sports Club.
Skiers and snowboarders can play volleyball, ladder ball or toss horseshoes as skimmers skim and The Missing Link plays all afternoon on the sundeck.
Lift tickets will be free for anyone that presents a season pass from another Colorado ski area and $25 for non-passholders on April 9th and 10th.
