- The over-arching goal of the Glenwood Springs Tourism Board and its stewardship of the Tourism Promotion Fund, derived from accommodations tax on short-term lodging, is to attract new visitors and tourism business to Glenwood Springs and to maintain the core, loyal visitor base, growing the base with more frequent visits and longer stays. Tourism represents 30% of the economic base in Glenwood Springs. The Tourism Board works in partnership with Kate Collins, VP of Tourism Marketing, on the annual destination marketing plan strategy.
