GsHeli1002.jpgGlenwood Springs, Colorado is on the Western Slope of the state on Interstate 70 at the confluence of the Roaring Fork and Colorado Rivers.  It's 160 miles from Denver and 90 miles from Grand Junction.  Air service is available into Denver International Airport (DIA) or Grand Junction's Walker Field, which has daily connecting flights from DIA.  There are also two nearby regional airports in Eagle and Aspen.

The Vail/Eagle County Regional Airport is just 30 miles to the east, and Aspen Airport is 40 miles to the south.  Both of these regional airports have direct flights from many cities year-round.  The Aspen airport has a daily connecting flight from Denver.

Colorado Mountain Express (CME) provides ground transportation to and from Glenwood Springs, with shared ride airport shuttles and private car services.  See more

Amtrak's passenger train, the California Zephyr, runs between Chicago and San Francisco.  Glenwood Springs is a major stop on the route, with a convenient departure and return to Denver.  See more
